North American Tower Company is seeking a Telecommunications National Director, Site Acquisition. Our growing, fast-paced telecommunications engineering department seeks a dynamic, client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and energetic National Director, to join our staff of professionals who provide site acquisition, engineering design, analysis, permitting and construction support for wireless facilities. The National Director will have responsibility for managing engineering and site acquisition activities associated with wireless and wireline clients. Ability to coordinate with RF engineering, construction and client network operations teams is essential.

Duties & Key Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing price proposals; assisting in qualification and coordination of the activities of NATC subcontractors; managing the schedules for site acquisition and engineering activities; inspecting the quality of engineering and site acquisition deliverables to meet or exceed customer requirements; managing and monitoring project budgets, billings, accounts payable and receivables.
Responsibilities will include tasks associated with the site acquisition and engineering services for new site builds, site modifications, distributed antenna systems, small cell systems and other professional services associated with wireless and wireline projects.
The National Director will also be responsible for maintenance of ongoing contact with prospective and current clients, participating in business development activities, marketing, proposal preparation and new client/project pursuits. Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize work assignments, be responsive, and multi-task are a must for the successful candidate in this fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Successful Site Acquisition team track record within a growing organization. Self-starter with the ability and motivation to work independently to achieve new ring search approvals quotas.
Excellent ability to create new, and maintain existing, account relationships.
Effective at achieving results in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment.
Good strategic and creative problem-solving skills that effectively influence decision making during negotiations.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify key contacts for follow up; excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure understanding.
Ability to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize land management, create a seamless customer experience and resolve issues. Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.

Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 25% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
