We are seeking a National Director, Site Permitting to lead and direct the preparation of permitting applications for the development of commercial facilities, antenna, cell tower, satellite, and Wi-Fi infrastructure throughout the United States.

Duties & Key Areas of Responsibility:

The National Director, Site Permitting will be tasked with the responsibilities to lead the permitting process, interface with local representatives, provide direction to engineers, designers and other corporate departments in application requirements/design and oversee the preparation of applications for submittal. You will be the face of the company at the local level in building relationships with governmental official’s/consulting agencies and conducting presentations to fostering rapport for the effective approval of applications.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an aggressive National Director, Site Permitting who will be responsible for the coordination of multiple, regional ongoing projects for a Billion-dollar national infrastructure program.

Candidates that have previous land use application, city planning experience within the Commercial, Wireless or Satellite infrastructure industry and/or existing relationships with city/state planning officials will be given priority consideration

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Successful Site Permitting team track record within a growing organization. Self-starter with the ability and motivation to work independently to achieve new ring search approvals quotas.

Ability to identify key contacts for follow up; excellent ability to communicate project and status updates to team and cross-functionally to ensure understanding.

Ability to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize land management, create a seamless customer experience and resolve issues.

Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively; strong proficiency in leading dynamic presentations to customers.

Good strategic and creative problem-solving skills that effectively influence decision making during negotiations.

Effective at achieving results in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment.

Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

▪5+ years of experience in the research, development and management of permit applications for new infrastructure (land use, zoning, easements and right of ways) within the national USA marketplace.

▪Must have strong understanding of local city planning, municipal codes, state and governmental regulations and general conditions of approvals to insure compliance, successful permitting and construction of infrastructure (i.e. buildings, cell towers, antennas, Wi-Fi, satellite and repeater stations) facilities.

▪Requires a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities, as well as, capacity to travel on a regular basis. Must have experience permitting projects within communities on a national scale.

Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 50% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
